Co-curricular Programmes

All students are expected to take active part in the various co-curricular activities of the college. Such activities are important to the formation of personality. Therefore each student is advised to involve in the activities as much as possible. The student may enroll in any of the organizations or clubs on the campus and engage in creative activities of various kinds.

The College Union

The elections to the College union will be conducted on the date fixed by the university only. The Parliamentary system will be followed. Class representatives will be elected from the respective classes. The Union Executive will be elected from this representative body only. The eligibility of candidates will be decided as per university guidelines. The college union will be constituted and made functional as per the prevailing practices.

Jesus Youth

Jesus Youth is an international Catholic youth movement with a charismatic spirituality started in Kerala now active in nearly 25 different countries across the world. It is an initiative of young people filled with the Holy Spirit try to reach out to other young people. The strength of the movement is its special focus on a life centered on Lord Jesus Christ: beginning with an experience of God nourished by prayer, the Word of God, the sacraments and fellowship, and sharing the Gospel values with others. It is a network of vibrant groups of young people mostly university students. In their own life situations, they strive to give time to the Lord, responding to the challenges of today's world in the power of the Holy Spirit. All Catholic students can be members of the group.

Arts & Culture Club

The arts club will function in collaboration with the College Union. It will be responsible for promoting youthful talents on the campus and preparing them to participate in local and University level events. A teacher shall be the president of the Club. The Arts Club secretary will along with a nominated executive organize the various activities.

National Service Scheme

The NSS unit of the College is a registered voluntary organization. It is affiliated to the M G University NSS unit. Students can join in its activities as members and earn credits by fulfilling a certain number of working hours.

Sports Club

Sports activities of various kinds will be organized on the campus to promote love of sports and sports culture.

Photography and Film Club

The club is meant to promote visual arts and encourage budding photographers and film lovers. Serious study of the visual media, exhibitions and screenings of classic movies and discussion sessions will be organized by the Club.

Departmental Peer Group Associations

The various departments will have peer group associations such as Commerce Association, The English Association('Renaissance').Social Work 'SWIMS'( Social Workers for Inspiration at Malankara Sahyajyothi) and the Business Studies Club.

Nature Club

The club is open to all students interested in the protection of environment. The club will co-operate with NGOS and Government Agencies working to promote ecological preservation.

Music Club

The Music Club will take the initiative in organizing talents on the campus to perform musical programmes and participate in competitions outside college.
